One is art that one is supposed to admire with an astonished WOW!; the other is simply a carefully executed, good, practical idea that brings a smile to one's face: both are stacks of books.

The other is a bookshop counter at the Kergord Hatchery Bookshop in the Shetland Islands.
Does something become 'art' merely because of the context or the hype: maybe both?
Is this our problem today - that we define, isolate, and promote just too much, too eagerly, in order to seek recognition and acclaim for what is seen as an individual's ‘bespoke genius,’ when good work is enough for an intention, not adulation?
Of course, the standard joke of nearly every visitor to the Hatchery Bookshop is: “Can I have a look at the bottom one please?”
